This will get view dependent elements (like Detail Items such as Filled Regions) from a linked document. Inputs:
· Linked document filename as string
· Category name
· Type name (results are filtered to include only this type)
· The “owner view” or the view that these elements live inside in the linked document
This node takes no inputs and simply returns a list of all Revit Link Instances placed in the current document. As these are truly ‘elements’, they can be queried and even deleted by other Dynamo nodes.
This node will take a single Document object, and list of Element Ids, and attempt to get the corresponding Revit elements. It can work on the current Document, or for Linked documents.
Using one Link Instance Id, this node will report the corresponding Link Document object in the oneLinkDoc output.
This node takes a list of LinkElementId objects as input, and then extracts the API data that is associated with them. As can be observed, if the LinkElementId refers to an object in the Host model, its Element Id will appear in the HostElementIds output. If the LinkElementId refers to a linked element, the LinkedInstanceIds and LinkedElementIds outputs reveals that information.
This node reports the Revit Link paths and their Path Type for the current, active Revit model.
